COVID-19 and Camp:
​Hoping for the best, planning for multiple scenarios. 

We are carefully monitoring all developments around COVID-19 in New York City, and hope to have clarity soon about whether we will be able to go ahead with any of our planned camp dates. Camp directors will email all registered families with an update as soon as we have a clear understanding of what will be possible, by May 15th at latest. We will of course fully refund all registered families if we are unable to have our camp this summer. Please don't hesitate to email us any time with questions.

Join us for an NYC summer camp that is Early Childhood focused and is designed specifically for 4- to 6-year-olds.

  • Session 1: Tuesday, June 16 - Friday, June 26
  • Session 2: Monday June 29 - Friday, July 10 (Closed Friday, July 3rd)
  • Session 3: Monday July 13 - Thursday, July 23

Swim and Specials

Swim at SummerSault! 
  • Each camper has swim lessons 3-4 days a week in Trinity's onsite pool.
  • Small counselor-camper ratios at the pool

Literacy Tutorial Option

This is an exceptional opportunity to improve and further develop your child’s literacy skills without the pressures of the daily school routine. We offer two private weekly half-hour sessions that accommodate your child at any reading level. There is an additional fee of $300 per session and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. This program will be offered contingent on minimum enrollment. 

Facilities

SummerSault at Trinity School is located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, on West 91st Street between Columbus Avenue and Amsterdam Avenue. Our facilities include specialized early childhood classrooms, two outdoor play spaces, gym, art rooms, a theater, and best of all - a pool in the building! 

Lunch and Snack

Children bring their own lunch and drinks. Morning beverage and snack are served to all campers.

Peanut-free Policy
Due to the increasing number of children with peanut and nut allergies, SummerSault has a strict peanut, tree-nut and sesame seed free policy. NO peanut or nut products or seeds of any kind will be allowed in the camp. Tree nuts include cashews, pistachios, almonds, brazil nuts, macadamia nuts, pecans, chestnuts, walnuts, hazel nuts, pine nuts and sesame. Please note that coconuts are now considered a tree-nut. We are grateful for your cooperation in this matter, as it can be an extremely serious situation for those children who are allergic.

2020 Camper Age groups and Daily Program Times

SummerSault at Trinity School is open to Trinity students as well as any families looking for an Upper West Side day camp. Swimming, Science, Music and Movement, Art, and Creative Play are just some of the hands-on activities that will make for a fun-filled summer. 
There are three SummerSault at Trinity School groups - all ages take swim!
Bunnies (4s group) full day program, 9:00am - 3:00pm, with a noon dismissal on Fridays.
  • Children must be 4 years old by June 1, 2020.
Pandas (5s group) full day program, 9:00am - 3:00pm, with a noon dismissal on Fridays.
  • Children must be 5 years old by September 1 , 2020.
Lions (6s/7s mixed group) full day program, 9:00am - 3:00pm, with a noon dismissal on Fridays.
  • Children must be 6 years old by September 1, 2020.
  • Our Lions program is designed for a mixed group of 6 and 7-year-olds.

2020 Camp Fees

Registration fee and deposit:
payable by credit card  
  • $175 non-refundable registration fee per family due with registration form. Save $75 on the registration fee when you register by April 17, 2020 
  • $500 enrollment deposit for each camper, due with registration form.
  • Cancellation notices must be received, in writing, by May 15 for the $500 enrollment deposit to be refunded.
Fees for all Sessions
  • $1,800 full day program 
  • New: save $100 per session when you sign up for all three! 
SummerSault at Trinity is licensed by the New York City Department of Health and is inspected twice yearly. The inspection reports are filed at Day Camps and Recreation.
