General Camp Questions
Does camp provide lunch?
No, SummerSault does not provide lunch. Children must bring their own lunch and may make use of the classroom refrigerator if needed. All lunches must be nut and seed free. We are unable to heat up lunches.
Does SummerSault provide snacks?
Yes, we provide snacks daily and ice pops weekly. If your child has a dietary restriction, we ask that you please let us know, and we will let you know if our snacks can accommodate particular allergies. If we are unable to provide a snack based on dietary restrictions, we ask that you pack a snack for your child. All questions can be sent to the Camp Directors and Camp Nurse.
Is there an extended day program?
We do not offer an extended day program. The camp day ends at 3pm Monday - Thursday and at Noon on Fridays.
My child will be going into a Pre-K program this fall but is turning 4 over the summer. Can they still attend?
Your child must be 4 years old to attend camp.
Can I sign up for a partial week?
We are thrilled to offer 1-week enrollment for the first time, and we cannot accommodate shortened weeks.
Can I come and tour the camp?

Does my child have to be toilet trained?
Yes, all children must be fully toilet trained to come to camp. We do not allow pull-ups or diapers at camp.
How many teachers are in the classroom?
Each classroom has 2 lead teachers that work in childhood and early childhood programs. Each room also has a CIT (counselor in training) that is a High School or College student.
How will I know what my child is doing during camp?
At the end of each week, camp will send home a newsletter highlighting all of the activities that the children participated in. You are welcome to follow us on Instagram to get a peek into some of our fun, daily activities!
What does my child need to bring to camp?
Please pack your child with a full change of clothes, a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, a water bottle, and lunch (Monday - Thursday).
When is the last day to withdraw my registration for a refund?
We ask that withdrawal requests be made in writing to the Directors by Friday, May 17. We cannot accommodate refunds past this date. Please note: a $125 registration fee per family is non-refundable.

Health and Safety Questions
All health and safety protocols will be in alignment with The Town School's current policies, informed by the CDC, NY State, and NYC Department of Health. We will ensure all parents have a complete health and safety overview before the start of camp.
Will my child have to wear a mask?
We will align camp policies with The Town School's current health and safety protocols. Town continues to review the best possible guidance from its partners in the medical community to determine age-appropriate and effective mask protocols for children.
Does my child have to be vaccinated?
Yes, Town’s policy is that all eligible children must be vaccinated (currently, age 5 and over). If you believe your child qualifies for a medical exemption, or if you have other questions, please reach out to us.
Will you require testing for COVID-19?
We will announce in advance if COVID testing is required before starting or at any point during camp.
